Homemaker’s Contribution a Factor in Asset Distribution

 Where the evidence established that the marriage lasted three years, and respondent moved out of the home at least six times, her contribution as a homemaker was appropriately devalued.  In re Cecil 
Employed Outside the Home
 The circuit court erred when it ordered husband to pay wife for her homemaker contribution where wife worked outside the home and failed to show that her contribution as homemaker was greater than husband’s contribution to the home.  In re Tatham
Entitled to Consideration
 A spouse’s contribution as a homemaker should be considered by the court in making of her homemaking contributions under this section.  In re Cullman
Improvements to House
 Where wife helped to increase or at least maintain the value of the home by landscaping the property, painting the interior, and seeing to needed repairs and cleaning, such was considered relevant to the division of marital property under this section.  In re Cullman
